White Chocolate Lemon Fungi

This thick white chocolate lemon truffle will become a new holiday favorite! Perfect for gift giving or including in the cake tray.
material
- 1 cup of white chocolate
- 1/4 cup of butter
- spices of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp. heavy whip cream
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
- 2-3 drops of yellow food coloring (optional)
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
Instructions
- Place the white chocolate chips in a medium mixing bowl and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter with lemon zest. Stir in thick cream and blisters (bring before boiling) mixture. Pour the cream mixture through a fine sieve over white chocolate chips. Add lemon extract and optional food coloring, then stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Cover and chill the chocolate chip mixture until it is strong enough to handle, about 30 minutes.
- Spoon the teaspoon mixture of chocolate and shape it into a ball. Roll the ball in powder sugar.
- Chill truffles for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
