Funfetti Cake Batter Cookie Dough Brownie Layer Cake

Funfetti Dough Cake Cake This Brownie Layer dough is truly decadent! Layers of brownies and eggless funfetti cake batter dough are covered with a delicious chocolate ganache - and of course lots of sprinkles! Prepare a large glass of your milk!

So in marriage, one of the things we must learn is sharing. The problem is, sometimes sharing is not easy. And sometimes sharing means other people lose - like losing something. Like losing the nail clippers that you both shared. And sometimes that seems to happen repeatedly.

When that happens, there is only one thing to do.

INGREDIENTS

BROWNIES

• 1 1/2 cups of vegetable oil
• 3 cups of sugar
• 3 tsp vanilla extract
• 6 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups of flour
• 1 cup of cocoa (I use Hershey's Special Dark)
• 3/4 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt

COOKIE DOUGH

• 1 1/2 cup butter, soft
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
• two 15.25 ounces of funfetti pastry mix box
• 1 1/3 cup of flour
• 3–4 tbsp of milk
• 4–5 teaspoons
• 3/4 cup of white chocolate chips
• 3/4 cup chocolate chips

CHOCOLATE GANACHE

• 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chip, divided
• 1 cup of heavy whipped cream, divided

FROZEN CHOCOLATE

1/4 cup of butter
1/4 cup shortening
2 cups of powdered sugar
1/4 cup of cocoa
1 tablespoon of water or milk
topping, for toppings, if desired

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cover the 8-inch baking pan with baking paper and spread the sides. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix oil, sugar and vanilla extract.

3. Add eggs and stir until well blended.

4. Mix flour, chocolate, baking powder and salt.

5. Slowly add the dried ingredients to the egg mixture until well blended.

6. Pour the mixture evenly into three pans and spread it evenly.

7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with some crumbs.

8. Remove the brownies from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan, then lift until cool on a wire rack.

9. When the brownies are cold, make a cake mixture.

To make cake dough:

1. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

7. Mix vanilla extract.

8. With a mixer at low speed, add one box of pastry mixture, plus 1 1/2 cups from the second cake mix box and mix until mixed.

9. Add 1 cup of flour and stir until mixed.

9. Add milk and up to 1/3 cup of added flour for the preferred thickness.

10. Stir the sprinkles and chocolate chips. The dough will be thick. Set aside.

To assemble a cake:

After the brownies are cold, it's time to put the layers together. You can stack cake dough into brownies, stack layers and leave a messy layer, or use the method I use to clean the edges / sides of the cake.

1. Place half the chocolate chips in a metal bowl.

2. Microwave half the thick cream until it starts boiling. Remove from the microwave and pour over the chocolate chips.

3. Cover the bowl with a suggestion for 5-7 minutes.

4. Beat chocolate and cream until smooth.

5. Using one of the 8-inch cake pans that are the same as where you are baking brownies, place the parchment paper or wrappers at the bottom and above the side of the pan. You will use it to lift the layer out of the pan.

6. Place the first brownie into the bottom of the pan.

7. Add about 3 tablespoons of chocolate ganache on top of the brownie and apply to a thin layer. This will help the cake mixture stick to the brownie.

8. Put half of the cake mixture into the pan and spread it evenly over the brownies.

9. Remove the first two layers of the baking sheet and place them on the serving plate.

10. Repeat steps 5-8 with the second brownie and the remaining cake mixture. Then remove from the pan.

11. Place 3 tablespoons of ganache chocolate on top of the cake batter layer from the first part of the cake and spread it thinly.

12. Place the second part of the cake on top of the first.

13. Place 3 tablespoons of ganache chocolate on top of the cake layer above (fourth layer) and apply it thinly.

14. Top with the remaining brownies. Press the sprinkles on the side of the cake mixture, if desired.

To finish the cake:

1. Place the remaining chocolate chips in a metal bowl.

2. Remain microwave thick cream until it starts to boil. Remove from the microwave and pour over the chocolate chips.

3. Cover the bowl with a suggestion for 5-7 minutes.

4. Beat chocolate and cream until smooth.

5. Let stand for a few minutes until it starts to thicken, then pour it on the cake.

6. Place the cake in the fridge and make chocolate icing.

7. To make icing, shake the butter and butter together until smooth.

8. Slowly add powdered sugar and chocolate and stir until smooth.

9. Add water or milk and stir until smooth.

10. Remove the cake from the fridge, and the icing pipe to the top edge of the cake. Sprinkle with sprinkles.
