Strawberry Whipped Cream

More than a year ago we posted a recipe for homemade chocolate whipped cream, and now one of the top 10 recipes for people who come to our site for!
Before I learned how to make chocolate whipped cream, I really wanted to cool the whip.

I know ... I'm a dessert blogger. I might prefer homemade whipped cream rather than cool whip. But a cool whip is easy.

And it must be something I will still use, but I think my heart changes to prefer homemade whipped cream <3

So I set out to make whipped cream flavor, thinking there must be a way I can do this, and there !!

Apart from whipped cream and chocolate whipped cream, I find many people like strawberry flavor, plus strawberry whipped cream matches a lot of desserts - vanilla and chocolate or whatever!

You can use it to make cakes, in hot chocolate, use it to make ice cakes or cakes, use it to cover homemade ice cream cakes, or use it as a stuffed cake.

You need 3 ingredients - thick cream, strawberry jello powder and powdered sugar.

How to make strawberry whipped cream

1. Cool the metal stirring bowl and shaker in the freezer for 15 minutes.

You wonder if this step is needed. I have made a whipped cream with some kind of cooling the bowl before ... which means the last minute I put it in the freezer or pulled it out of the fridge too early and when I really whipped the cream, the bowl didn't cool anymore.

This is what I observed - cooling the bowl and the previous shaker to produce a whipped cream that has a harder top (that's a good way to say it's more stable).

Overall, I recommend cooling these items beforehand, but if you really forget, putting them in the freezer for at least 5 minutes is better than nothing.

2. Put all 3 ingredients into a cold bowl and shake with an electric mixer for 4-5 minutes, or until the stiff top is formed / boil with a spoon and hold the shape.

• 2 heavy cream cups
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 4 tbsp strawberry jello powder

Instructions

Place a metal mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Remove the bowl from the freezer. Add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and strawberry jello powder, and beat with an electric mixer for 4-5 minutes, or until stiff peaks form / it's a spoon-able and holds its shape.

Use on cakes, cupcakes, pies, hot cocoa, etc. Place leftovers in a container and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
